Gaurav Yadav is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience in product development and building distributed systems. Gaurav is currently working at OLX as a Senior Engineer in the Dealer Financing team, where he is solving problems in the dealer car financing space by building distributed systems. Gaurav has experience working in a very early stage startup, where he played a key role in scaling the company from zero to a few thousand customers within a few months. He is familiar with Distributed System Design, REST, Micro-Services, DevOps practices and WebRTC. He has good analytical, coding and debugging skills and has a keen interest in innovation and problem-solving. Prior to OLX, Gaurav worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Airtel, where he developed a pool of highly scalable platform services for the bank’s customer-facing products like Airtel Thanks App and Airtel Payments Bank Retailer Portal, thereby creating enormous business/financial value for the bank. He also worked as a Creator at TheInstashare, where he led the company's efforts to migrate from monolith to microservices architecture by developing a peer-to-peer media streaming service built on top of the WebRTC tech stack. Gaurav has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology and completed his XII from Kendriya Vidyalaya.
